Description

Yarn base is soft, single ply kid mohair – silk ( 72% – 28% ) , hand dyed by me in Berlin, Germany. The yarn is dyed using a special method I developed in my studio. It has several layers of color that give your projects depth and shade. I tried to replicate the shading process of renaissance masters.

Knit held double on 3-3.5mm needles or use as a supporting thread to give your projets that special soft glow or halo. Also suitable for lace knitting held single.

I always replicate my dyeing process, but, please allow for slight colour variations due to hand dyeing process.

Colors may look slightly different on screen.

May bleed after first washing. Hand wash in cold water.

Als Beilaufgarn geeignet, gibt wunderschönes Halo. Meistens halte ich es doppelt und verstricke es auf der Nadelstärke 3 – 3.5 mm oder Größer. Vier Knäuel reichen für einen Pullis bis zur Größe XL.

Tip: mohair is generally shy of water, so I let my handmade sweaters air hanging outside on the balcony and wash them only scarcely, when needed.
